Search Tips

• Spelling counts!
• Look out for alternate key words to help narrow down your search or get you closer to the right information.
• If your search results page includes a subject menu to help narrow down your results, take advantage of it.
• The databases generally offer help creating citations or citations already prepared and formatted according to MLA style guidelines. Be sure to make note of this information.
• Instead of printing information from the databases, consider emailing it to yourself/your group. The databases offer a built in feature that sends the article and citation directly to your email account.
